What’s It Like To Sail In The Greek Islands In July & August?

Snorkeling At Sunken City

“When is the best time to sail in Greece?” That’s one of the first questions you might ask when considering a sailing holiday. The hot Summer months are best for sailing in bare feet and shorts and anchoring in a cove for a refreshing dip in the Med. In July and August the Mediterranean has had plenty of time to warm up for Summer swimming. We often enjoy lunch al fresco in the cockpit before sailing to our destination to explore the islands and while away long summer days.

When you book with NISI, you’ll sail alongside our experienced Yachtmaster Instructor, Alex Fajardo. Whether you’re a first-time or seasoned sailor, we guarantee that you will advance your sailing skills. When you’re not sailing, you might wish to snorkel from the back of your own private sailboat and explore an ancient sunken city. Perhaps you’d like to hike a dormant volcano in Vathi or taste a flight of wine in a historic cellar in Poros. If this sounds like the perfect adventure for you, we’d love to have you aboard this summer.
