Sail to Five Islands On Your Way To Mykonos 9-14 June
The Greek Cyclades Islands are known for their beaches, ancient ruins, and blue and white towns overlooking the sea. Join us June 9-14 and you can visit five of these amazing islands on your Sailing Trip to Mykonos.
On this one-way trip you will sail alongside our experienced professional skipper and learn to sail, or, for those with experience, improve your skills. Starting from the beautiful island of Aegina, your skipper Alex Fajardo will take you to the Cyclades Island destination of Mykonos, stopping in a different Island each night.
“On our Sailing Tours you can learn to sail as much as you want, or just relax, sit back and enjoy the beauty of the greek Islands.”
NISI Sailing’s owner/operators take care to communicate with you throughout the planning process. We tailor your trip to your interests, and we offer transparent prices so you always know what is included and what is not. There will be no surprise “add-ons.”
We are happy to help with any questions you have as you plan. We will walk you through the steps to get from the airport to sailing yacht NISI. We’ll even greet you at the ferry. We also show you the best restaurants and places to visit on each of the islands. Your best holiday is our goal.
Alex, your Skipper, is a Yachtmaster sailing instructor with years of sailing experience, and he is very keen on teaching the ‘art of sailing’ in a fun and relaxed way.
Our Itinerary, Five Islands Not to Forget
Our trip starts in Aegina Island, aboard sailing yacht NISI. Aegina is easily reachable by a 1’15 min ferry from Piraeus (the port of Athens). Aegina is a lively island. It is filled with bars and tavernas but still keeps its fishing village identity. Aegina is often visited by the Athenians, and is home of Aphaia’s Temple and the amazing Cathedral Of Saint Nectarios.
From Aegina we will venture into the first of the Cyclades Islands, Kea Island. We’ll put in a full day sailing, arriving just before sunset, and passing under the impressive temple of Poseidon, which towers over the Aegean sea from the top of a cliff.
The next day we will sail South, towards Kythnos Island. Kythnos is famous for its natural hot water springs and has one of the most famous beaches in the Cyclades, Kolona beach, a double-sided beach with crystal waters.
After spending the night in Kythnos, we head East to Syros Island. Ermoupoli, the capital of the Cyclades, is a cosmopolitan town, famous for Miaouli Square and its marble streets. There is always something to see, do, or buy on this bustling island.
After Syros we will continue East to reach our final destination, Mykonos. Then, you’re off to discover this legendary island with upscale dining, wine, windmills, shopping, and the historic city and sea views.
